Acousta 117

The Acousta 117 stands as Lowther’s most enduring design, a folded-horn loudspeaker that has defined the art of single-driver reproduction for generations. Its carefully balanced geometry and handcrafted Baltic Birch cabinet deliver the immediacy, detail, and natural presence that only a Lowther can produce. Edilia

Edilia builds upon the heritage of the Almira design, adding a tunable bass system that allows the listener to shape the sound to suit their room and taste. Its hybrid quarter-wave enclosure and carefully balanced geometry provide smooth extension and remarkable coherence across the frequency range. At its heart lies the PM7A full-range instrument, supported by a DX3 bass driver under passive control, delivering a sound that is open, precise, and full of musical character. Almira

Designed to perform equally well in smaller rooms as in larger spaces, the Almira preserves the clarity and scale of bigger Lowther speaker cabinets but in a much more compact footprint. Utilising the DX3 driver, the Almira is based on a quarter-wave Voigt horn with a floor-facing exit.

TP2

Inspired by legendary designs like the AudioVector and Lowther Hegeman, it employs a dual-loaded horn principle for exceptional efficiency and a rich sound quality. This speaker, a testament to Lowther’s commitment to excellence, balancing historical design elements with contemporary advancements.

Audiovector

Meticulously handcrafted in Great Britain, the new AudioVector merges the revered Lowther legacy with contemporary advancements. Designed for large spaces, the 2019 AudioVector can be identified by its dual Lowther drivers and iconic top dispersal horn. Originating from a passionate experiment, it has evolved into a cherished series, distinguished by its rarefied presence in the market.

Hegeman

Revisiting the fabled collaboration between Donald Chave and Stewart Hegeman in the 1950’s, the Hegeman revives a revered chapter in Lowther’s history, drawing inspiration from classic Voigt horn architecture while embracing the precision of modern craftsmanship.
